i made this at the register just after i got through a line of customers. it actually really helped to relieve my stress at this customer! she approached with a basket full of our christmas clearance items. i work in a craft store, so it wasn’t just like pot holders and shit. it was tiny scrapbooking stickers and glittery ugly fake floral crap. anyway. she had me price check EVERYTHING as she laid it on the counter and if it wasn’t under a dollar she didn’t want it. she had this sour look on her face the whole time and finally she said “is there a reason why these aren’t ringing up correctly?” i told her that they were ringing correctly, that all of our christmas items were either on sale for 50-60% off or on clearance. i wanted to be like, “did you think this pack of christmas scrapbooking paper was gonna be 50 cents? because even if it did happen to be 90% off, which it’s not, it’d still be $2.00 if it was originally $20!!” are some people just really stupid? or do they think that all our shit is a dollar? she had a horrible attitude and did not give a fuuuuuuck that she was causing a line out the ass and i was the only cashier. MEH!
